...other than the aforementioned reasons below.
My laptop almost died. It was in a coma for a while…
Oklah. I was malas.

Genting Highlands
Genting Highlands has a great deal of sentimental value to me - about a decade ago.
Time flies.
And I thought I have lost ‘Genting Highlands’. But it is still there, in my heart.

Hari Pertama.. Tempat Baru.. :D
Today is my first day at the new place. Every first days have been difficult for me. It was back then when I got my first job after graduation. Today was no different. I was not in my best condition. I didn't sleep properly the night before and was not feeling very well at all this morning - all thanks to the diarrhea I got last Saturday. Nice!!!
But alhamdulillah, eventually all went well. New place and new friends. Hubby text me with his kind wishes while I was in the HR briefing along with two other newbies. Kakak also text me some time later but for some reason, I cannot reproduce what we both text about here. But thanks.
I got a nice office for two. Haven't got to know my new partner real well but he seems nice. Yes.. it’s HE occay… Seems sekepala, as they usually say it.
I received my first assignment today from my immediate boss. Yay! I was worried that I would end up staring at the desk for a week as I've once experienced many years ago.
Hmm.. I sure have a lot of catching up to do. Doakan kejayaan saya di sini. Thanks!

Tak Paham!!!
I forgot I wanted to rant about this. For some reason teringat while in the shower this morning.
Someone asked me how Lisa’s delivery went. I said "Oh it was great. Epidural all the way." She gave me this half-smirk and said "Oh, that's cheating. You have to feel all the pain." While the my-mother-raised-me-to-be-polite person outside just smiled at this remark, the secret blogger inside raises her fist and uncurls her middle finger.
What do you mean it's cheating? Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realize giving birth to a baby was a test.
I'm annoyed by these women who thinks the 'proper' way to deliver a child is to feel all the pain. If it's your choice to forego any type of medication, more power to you dude, but don't judge or look down on other people who choose to manage their pain with the medical options available to them. If I wanted to deliver my child sans drugs, I might as well just do it in a barn somewhere.
It's my body, my child, my decision. Who are you to judge me for not wanting to feel pain on my hoo-ha? If you had a headache and took some aspirins to relieve it, I wouldn't call you a cheater. I'm sure going through 5 or more hours of labor without any drugs can make you feel like a warrior woman, but that doesn't mean other people who does it any other way are weaker than you. If my hands were mangled and bleeding, and I choose not to get any pain relief, you would call me stupid. So how is this different? It's not weak or wimpy or cheating to make full use of the medical options available to me.
That's what the doctors, nurses and anesthesiologists are there for. If I were to have 10 kids, I would deliver them all with the aid of epidural. I don't think you're stupid if you want to "feel all the pain". That's your choice, go right ahead. But don't start looking down on me just because I don't make the same decision.
Phew. Feel so much better now.

Is It Fair??!!!
How fair can this life be to you? What is fair? Is it fair that when you are spending RM10 for your breakfast at Starbak and there's people not far from you starving and hoping for a bite for the whole day. Is it fair when you got to drive around in your luxury car and there's people that has to ride on their old bike just to go to their work and earn so little from it? Is it fair when you are driving with your nice big car and suddenly you had a punctured tyre? Is it fair when you just give RM2 for the person who saved you from all the trouble to change your flat tyre under the hot scorching sun? Is it fair when you taught that you have given all your best and you are not thanked properly?
And yet life can be soo beautiful...

Yes!, I'm Back...
I figured it's really time that I started blogging again, although I'm sure that some readers would have stopped checking for a long while. Anyhow, it would be good for me to get my thoughts and reflections down and also keep those of you dedicated ones up to date with us, or me, atleast...
After months of praying about my schedule and other things, I've found that the key words here are 'constancy' and 'flexibility'. In other words, I have needed to have a regular timetable but also allow much space for changes. In the process of discovering this, I realised how much I like a routine, knowing what to expect and planning ahead. While routine is all good and can yield great things, on the other hand things that 'come up' or take us by surprise as it were are what sometimes help us to focus on the important. For example, the half miss typhoon meant that I couldn't go out. I didn't actually have any 'urgent' appointments for the past two days. However, physically, my body has been saying 'you need to rest'.

Congratulation's Hezra and Faizi
Dear Hezra,
A girl dreams about her wedding
-that blissfully special day.
So much excitement and anxiety
Over what to do and say.
You've found your perfect man
Who loves and cherishes you.
Your loving vows unite your souls,
Creating one heart shared by two.
Marriage is a promise to compromise
No matter how great or small.
Though life is never perfect,
True love surpasses all.
Give freely and unconditionally.
Enjoy a life filled with mutual caring.
I wish you a wonderful marriage
With sweet joys that make life endearing.
From this day forward, may you honour your oath,
I wish everlasting happiness to you both.
